Keep your eyes open along the riverbanks and in the treetops. If you’re lucky, you may spot kingfishers, hornbills, egrets and other birds. You might also see monitor lizards resting near the water, macaques moving through the trees and other wildlife that inhabits this ecosystem.
Depending on the season and water levels, your paddler may navigate beneath overhanging branches and through stretches of the river, offering opportunities to observe the rainforest up close.
