Follow the highway 402 across the Sarasin Bridge to Khok Kloy, after the bridge turn left on the highway 4 to Thai Mueang. Keep on driving straight on highway 4 pas Khao Lak and then Takua Pa, after Takua Pa keep on driving straight as highway 4 becomes highway 402 and head towards Surathani , the main entry to the Khao Sok National Park will be on your right hand side at the kilometer 109. The Journey by car from Phuket takes about 3h.

There are buses leaving the Phuket central bus station every hour from 9am to 2pm, however for convenience reasons and due to the lack of comfort and safety onboard we do not recommend this transportation method.

From Krabi, drive northwest on Thanon Phetkasem, also called Highway 4. Follow signs for Phang-Nga. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will arrive in Ao Luk. Keep driving straight on Highway 4 for about 30 more kilometers until your reach Route 415. Turn right onto this road. At the intersection, you will see a large gas station and a police building on the right. Continue north on Route 415 for approximately 48 kilometers. At the end, you’ll turn left onto Route 401. Continue driving for approximately 45 minutes until your reach the main entrance to the national park. The gate house will be on the right side of the road near kilometer marker 109. The drive from Krabi to Khao Sok takes about 2h30.

You may also travel to the Khao Sok National Park by bus. First, you’ll need to take the bus from Krabi to Takuapa near Phuket. Then, take the bus from Takuapa to Khao Sok. It’s important to note that the last bus departs Takuapa around 4pm. For safety and convenience, travel by bus is not recommended.

If you are traveling alone or with a group, a minivan provides service between Krabi and the national park. The minivan departs from a station outside of Krabi daily at 10am. For convenience, it’s best if you reserve your spot through your hotel.

We can organize private transportation for you directly from the Don Sak pier in Suratthani to Khao Sok at the rate of 2900 Baht for a car or 3400 Baht for a minivan .Please kindly note that each ferry company has its own pier, therefore please let us know which ferry company you are traveling with.

Please note that thieves gangs are very active in Don Sak area most of the time with the complicity of the busses and minivan drivers. Therefore, we do not preconize any of our guests to use those transportation way. Many cases of thieves hiding in luggage compartment were reported to the Tourist police. In case of any issue, please do not hesitate to contact the Tourist police on the following number: 1155.

Head to Phunpin town until you arrive at the Km 0 on the route…….Take the 401highway direction Phuket and drive straight for about 110 km, ,through the town of Baan Takhun and then Phanom until you arrive at the Km 109 (about 45 minutes after Phanom) the Khao Sok main entrance will be on your right hand side.
